About Us

Bituminous Roadways, Inc. (BR) offers superior asphalt pavement solutions to customers throughout the Twin Cities Metro area. For 75 years, BR has been an industry leader providing customers the highest quality results for all their pavement projects. We are dedicated to safety, innovation, continual improvement, environmental stewardship and most importantly, superior customer service.

From commercial/industrial pothole repair to interstate highway paving, no project is too big or too small for BR. Our core competencies range from asphalt paving, patching and cracksealing to milling, excavating and grading of all pavement areas; including parking lots, trails, roadways and outdoor athletic surfaces.

Bituminous Roadways owns and operates four asphalt plants throughout the 7-county metro area; Shakopee, Inver Grove Heights, Minneapolis and Columbus. The company also handles aggregate mining and processing, asphalt and concrete recycling and liquid asphalt cement modification. To ensure the highest quality of our materials, we own and operate three quality control labs, with state-of-the-art equipment. Quality is one of BR's core values, and one we stand behind with extensive testing.
